Cardinals Drum Corps Date: Saturday April 22, 2006 Location: Toronto Police Association (TPA) Tin Cup Room 180 Yorkland Blvd. North York, Ontario M2J 1R5 Time: 8:00 pm – 1:00 am For almost thirty years, the Cardinals Drum and Bugle Corps made a significant and memorable contribution to the lives of those who belonged to it. The Cardinals created a legacy of achievements, friendships and memories, which have withstood the test of time. This alumni reunion is being held to honour our past and to renew old friendships. Tickets for this event will be $10.00 per person. Details regarding ticket sales will be sent out in March 2006. Please pass this information on to anyone you know that was part of the Cardinals organization. DCI Releases Rules Proposals For 2006

Three rules will be voted on at the DCI winter meetings from Jan. 27 to Jan. 29 in Pasadena, Calif. Instructors and corps directors will deliberate on these proposals at those meetings.

Rule number one is about the location of the sound board that allows for corps amplification, and who operates that sound board. Rule number one was submitted by George Hopkins of YEA!

Rule number two would change the sheet that judges use to adjudicate color guard performances. It was submitted by Denise Bonfiglio and Marc Sylvester, representing the Cadets.

Rule number three would extend the front boundary of the front sideline from 10 feet to 12 feet. It was submitted by Ron Hardin, representing the Santa Clara Vanguard.
